Dan Kapsak is excited to be once again riding the Courage Classic to benefit The Denver Children's Hospital Foundation this July 26-28. The ride covers 157 miles of exquisite Colorado high country roads, from Leadville to Vail Pass, Copper Mountain and Dillon Lake to Breckenridge and Tennessee Pass. Dan's raised over $30,000 in the ride's 18 years of existence, and he is looking to raise $3,000 this year for the young people at The Children's Hospital.
He will be riding as a member of the Wheels of Justice, a team sponsored by the Colorado, Boulder, and Denver Bar Associations. In its short two year existence, the team has raised over $314,000! Please consider pledging Dan on his ride this summer. You can pledge any amount on line at www.couragetours.com/2008/dankapsak. Thank you for your generosity! Of course, Dan would love to have you join him on the ride-contact Dan for registration details.
Dan Kapsak is pleased to announce that he was appointed by the Boulder County Board of County Commissioners to a three year term with the Adult Protection Review Team. The team's purpose is to ensure a broad range of community services are available to at risk adults, individuals eighteen years of age or older who are susceptible to mistreatment or self neglect because they are unable to perform or obtain services necessary for their health, safety, or welfare, or lack sufficient understanding or capacity to make or communicate responsible decisions concerning their persons or affairs. If you have any questions about the team and its work in the county, do feel free to contact Dan.
Life Testaments (sometimes called Ethical Wills) play a very important part in conveying to loved ones our values, dreams, and our life's foundations. Dan Kapsak has prepared an in-office conversation and workbook to assist clients to begin the exploration of one's values and foundations so they may convey them in words, photos, or otherwise. Please feel free to contact Dan to schedule a time to begin this exciting, challenging, and ultimately rewarding process.
